Batman: Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 1 and Killzone 2(multiplayer's a ghost town nowadays).

Make melee more cumbersome for starters, similar to what Killzone 3 and Halo: Reach are striving for. One hit kill knife swipes are to be avoided. Accurate, context sensitive hitboxes are also a must.

If the game mechanics allow you, by all means, do it. But quickscoping feels unnatural to me, sniper rifles are supposed to be long range, suppressive fire weapons, not one hit kill, aim-assisted shotguns. If the game allows people to effectively play like that it's simply not the game for me.

Because that's not how you use a sniper rifle. Granted it's not the player's fault, they're playing with the hand they're dealt, developers are the ones that need to make sure this can't be done (unless we're talking about something like Unreal Tournament). But anyway, I mostly play Bad...
