all I know is this is one of the rarest Sim games published. I tried looking around on the web but I figured someone on this site would have an idea. I disagree with your estimate, however but then again, taste is subjective.

I think The Escapist has more intellectual stuff. I do like to be able to track games and my collection like I can on GameSpot. Honestly, I was never really moved to post on their forums. The Six Days in Fallujah coverage here has been pure boner fuel for me as I am more into the Serious Games...
The authenticity will be there, no question. I trust Atomic will put out an excellent product. Someone will have the balls to publish it and people will buy it. People like me. Konami passed. This is their right. I'll still buy their stuff, too.
I have to say going back to the 8 bit Nintendo would be the original Metal Gear back in 1989. The guy on the radio giving me direction throughout the entire game was a bad guy and I never saw it coming. I realized how gullible I can be. Nice topic.
I certainly did not mean to imply The Escapist has the corner on the ballot box stuffing market nor anyone's opinion is invalid in regards to what is good and what is not. Taste is subjective.
