Sound use to be considered a novelty when it came to movies. Heck some studios at the time even said sound would be a failure, claiming that audiences wouldn't want to have to watch AND listen at the same time.

I haven't played Birth By Sleep (obviously), but you absolutely do not need Chain of Memories or Days to get what's going on. As long as you've played 1 and 2 then you're still good to go.

I always get a kick out of the "I only pirate the movie so I can see if it's any good before buying it!" defense when that's exactly what rentals are for. Of course, who would want to pay for a Netflix subscription when you could just build flimsy justifications for downloading it for free?

Having plenty of fun with LOTRO. If I didn't have a lifetime subscription I'd probably be playing City of Heroes (Defenders are such a well designed class).
