I remember seeing a picture somewhere, of the events gamers have experienced over their life - "I have saved the galaxy from the reapers, I have solved the mystery of the blah blah blah, and stopped the plans of whoever", and stuff along that line. I'm currently looking for the picture, but the...
There's the additional concern of the mechanisms of flight. I think the Hobbit - though perhaps somewhere else (maybe just general logic) - establishes that the eagles fly using thermal currents. And a volcano is a huge source of thermal energy. The convection currents in the air would force the...
Australia:
Despite our reputation for horror-death animals, we actually have nothing large and carnivorous... Snakes and spiders, sure, but no bears, lions, etc.
The occasional wild dog, but nothing large and meat eating...
Samson: And so it was until the day that a false sun exploded over Trinity, and man forever traded away wonder for reason.
Paarthurnax: What is better? To be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?
Wolcott: Past hope. Past kindness or consideration. Past Justice...
When the Mandarin removes his hood he isn't wearing his rings... production error or notable point? Hmmmm...
Additionally, they'll skirt around the whole "We're racist for calling him the Mandarin" thing by doing what they always do with character names in the new movies:
Iron man...
"You know that low, broad, downy soft item of furniture in the next room? It has the power to cure fatigue and restore vitality"
"The very rock yawns with your next facinating movie..."
"You have an excess of mistresses... there's a word for keepers like you!"
- The Mentor
Ahhh...
Spare the rod, spoil the child...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a supporter of wanton canings and beatings, I'm just a firm believer in the benefits of the occasional spank. It's just basic operant conditioning... pairing the punishable action with a relatively immediate, memorably painful...
I had always assumed DA3 was going to be about roaming around fixing the circles/templars...
My hope is that Bioware points to the negative reactions to DA2 and ME3 and go "see? let us do our own stuff!" (assuming, that is, that it was EA's oversight that forced the games into shiteness) and...
Because killing your superiors is the fastest way to move up in the world when the heirarchy is filled with overly emotional, overly ambitious psychopaths... the dark side is a little corruptive, and when you're relying on your own passion for strength, you tend to look inward... pride...
Ehhhhh to a degree, the Rule of Two makes sense/works... discounting the diminishing effects of aging, the student would only be able to kill the master when they are stronger/more powerful, which leads to more and more powerful sith lords in the long run (or it should, anyway)... Each student...
Yeah I agree with quite a bit, but most about the star child is explained during the optional dialogue you can have... It was an organic race that created the catalyst (the star child) to "oversee relations between synthetics and organics [hence being a catalyst]... to establish a connection"...
Vast improvement, but the refusal ending could perhaps have been more developed... changes based on EMS, etc, resulting in total victory... however, the current changes to the endings would still make me pick destroy... in terms of the bigger picture the reaper's philosophy was... not...
I think I read somewhere that the definition of "free-range" is just that the animals have access to the outside - how farmers interpret this is entirely up to them - a square foot or 200 square feet, so long as it's outside - it all counts as "free-range", so it may in effect be nothing special...
