Amazing story about the little F2P, microtransaction title from SEA that could. Whether the numbers are dead on or not, still an amazing success story for Nexon.
A fairly interesting turn of events at any rate. Was the microtransactions teaser simply a slip of the tongue? Did Riccitiello let the proverbial cat at of the bag? Is EA perhaps simply throwing the idea out there and measuring consumer response?

During the load time...ok...I can go with that. But...if it's a 'and now a word from our sponsor' kinda thing, meh...not so hot. Again, if the ad is relevant to the game, and doesn't detract from the load time...ok, I see your point. Fair enough. :)

As I stated over there, I don't really find it a disruption or distraction. Like Spierek says above, non-obtrusive ads don't really disrupt...
Excellent article. Interesting to note that the free-to-play [http://www.fatfoogoo.com] exists, but most of the features are limited to the VIP membership. Also interesting to note the decline in the physical dolls and an increase in the virtual world Barbie.
