Having loved Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 3 to death, number 4 was a huge letdown.
I guess it's not straight out bad, but it felt really shit to me. Still haven't finished it, doubt I ever will.
Shantaram is one of the greatest books I have ever read, easily in my top...
What is a small town or a big city?
The largest city in Norway has only 500K inhabitants, and the second largest only 250K.
I'm not sure if I could live in a "big city" even if I wanted to whitout leaving for another country.
That being said, I prefer living in a rural area not too far...
At the same time, these same companies are advertising hard, building all the hype they can and pushing preorders.
I can't help but feel that this is connected somehow. Like they fear that consumers will realize that their game might not live up to all that hype, and they will lose...
It's not like I missed it, but Metallica has faced accusations of selling out since Ride the Ligthning, so it's not always easy to know wich specific incident people refer to.
That whole Napster fiasco was shit, yeah.
But honestly, that was 15 years ago and I don't really carry a grudge for...
Metallica, easily. I mean, Master of Puppets and Ride the Ligthning.
Hell, even Load is a pretty good record.
Slayer is pretty good too, but I never cared for Megadeath nor Anthrax.
When was that exactly?
No, not at all.
I find myself going for it too often, and it usually only serves to kill all enjoyment I have of the game.
Hell, I've even given up on several games because of this.
Can't progress because I might have missed something, then I'm too burned out on the game to bother.
Gran Turismo is delayed, what else is new?
Polyphony needs to get a grip.
I love the series, and have played it since GT1, but this was getting ridiculous even back on GT4.
Well, it would certainly help if the released a damn game every now and then.
