Escape to the Movies: The Maze Runner - Where's a Minotaur When You Need One?

I'm not going to watch this shlock even if it were free. Everyone would be better off watching "Lord of the Flies" the 1963 version.

Escape to the Movies: The Giver - Don't Bother Giving This Movie Your Time

Didn't know this movie existed until you reviewed it, MovieBob. Guess I'll forget about it now. Is the book any good? I'm guessing it isn't actually a teen drama?

"Ewwwwwww! How can you eat that?!?!"

Yep, that guac looks pretty good. Also agree with the super shitty fast food. TV dinners too, those things are horrid, worse than airplane food (which has gotten better over the years). Though if anyone's really interested in finding out all these strange corner culture foods around the...

Scenes From Animazement 2014: Cosplay Gallery 1

The ball held by the Assassin's Creed guy is the maguffin thing in AC2.

The Big Picture: No No Power Rangers

Having grown up with Power Rangers in my early teens I can safely say that this reboot will be crap, and I don't feel nostalgic to the cheesy property.

Escape to the Movies: Son of God

Pssst, they have been remade since the 50s. Never new this movie existed, or that it was a mini-series before that. Until now. The quarry joke, and the money sleezing on a high holiday irony made me laugh. Thanks for the funnies, Bob! Wouldn't see this movie anyway. Unless they paid me.

    Escape to the Movies: Robocop

Person on IO9 gave the new Robocop a 'decent' review, but I was way too skeptical, as I am with most of their movie reviews. Glad Bob dropped the Bomb O' Truth on it. Kind of disappointing, really. I watched the original on Netflix recently, and it was as great as I remembered.

The Big Picture: The Devil You Know - Part I

Oohhh. Great and not so great. That is an expensive novel. Do they not print it anymore or something? Does it have to be smuggled into the country by Han Solo, and arrive at the door with a Navy Seal escort?

The Big Picture: The Devil You Know - Part I

The book is a fabrication? As in does not actually exist? Dammit! I kind of wanted to read that when you mentioned it.

    A Human Day

That was a good story. It took me a few seconds to remind myself that "it's not my Shepard." The going to the movies scene was funny. I think all Shepards would want to see Blasto on the big screen.

You have become the main character in the last game that you played.

I guess I'm Mors, from the Game of Thrones RPG.

Captain Philips - Sympathy for the Pirate

Thirded. Stuck out like a boil on a bald man's brow. I'm planning to see this movie more-so now. Initially my interest was sparked after watching The Project, a documentary about the Somali pirates. Which I saw at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

Escapist Podcast: 110: Diablo 3, Next Mass Effect & PS4

The idea of the overheat system in Mass Effect was that of a resource to manage. Similar to overheating in the Mechwarrior games. Or... mana. The few seconds it takes for you to wait for the weapon to cool down (if you didn't overheat it) would be the same amount of time it would take to reload...
