    Which Critics/Journalists do You Enjoy?

I like TotalBiscuit and Jim Sterling. TotalBiscuit is informative and his videos appeal to me as a PC gamer. Jim Sterling is both informative and humorous. I really enjoy the Jimquisition and the videos where he slams crappy early access games.

    Dragon Age Inquisition: Worth Buying?

Denovo constantly rewrites the executable to make cheating in multiplayer more difficult. According to a BioWare dev, the rewriting is done in the RAM, not on the drive. As far as I'm aware, Windows can't rewrite executables while they are running anyway. My recommendation is 'buy'. The...

    Phrases that piss you off

Whenever someone criticizes something, for instance a YouTube video, it's followed by "if you don't like it, don't watch it", as if you could somehow dislike it before watching it.

    Sexy character designs done right

I liked Cynthia's design when she was wearing clothes.

Characters love for whom you don't understand

He's my favorite character in the Mass Effect series and possibly in any video game. He's not a stereotypical nerd character in the slightest and he's definitely not a psychopath. He's simply a very intelligent and rational being who does something he himself finds repulsive only because he...

Characters love for whom you don't understand

Boba Fett from Star Wars Never understood it. He's usually just standing there next to real villains, like Jabba the Hutt and Darth Vader. He manages to follow Han Solo to Bespin, which was quite clever, but then Darth Vader freezes him so Boba Fett can just load him onto a ship without...

Plots That Made You Say, "No, Just Stop!"

A fetus. Might be a little controversial for the player to be shooting a giant fetus, but the design they eventually went with was a bit too silly.

Plots That Made You Say, "No, Just Stop!"

I think the problem there is the design of the Reaper, not its existence. The plot is fine, but it could have been so much better if they had just picked a different design for the Reaper. For instance, this concept art:

Xbox One's Frame Rate: Kid Rejected, Mother Approved

Framerate matters, not just because it makes the game look better, but also because it improves gameplay. I was once playing an online shooter at 60 fps and did quite well, then I started recording with Fraps, the framerate dropped to 30, and I couldn't hit a single enemy. This is the best...

Why does Titanfall require 50GB of space?

They could localize it better so the unnecessary languages are excluded. Filesize is also likely to be lower due to lower texture quality.

Biggest Difficulty Spike You Have Ever Experienced

In Mass Effect, many of the sidemissions can be very hard if you do them early on. I tend to skip them until I completed a large portion of the main storyline.

Common Sci-Fi tropes that annoy you!

Lack of resources is the likely cause of this trope, and it's not just Mass Effect, but Star Trek and other scifi as well. I'm currently watching reruns of Star Trek TNG, more specifically the first season, and each episode the aliens are either white people, black people, or ferengi.

    Protagonists you just can't stand.

He's not the main character. He's the focalizer. The focalizer is the person through whom the story is told. Usually this character is crucial to the storyline, but very rarely, he or she isn't. Compare it to the droids in the original Star Wars trilogy. We keep following them arround since...

    My daughter is named Tali'Zorah. I suppose I'm crazy : )

Agreed. Tali sounds like a reasonable name, but Tali'Zorah is a name I wouldn't even give to a dog. And the dog doesn't care. The kid will.

Most Bizarre Errors You Constantly See

I think it started with the movie "Bride of Frankenstein". The title refers to Frankenstein's wife, but the movie is also about Frankenstein making a female creature. Many viewers assume that the title refers to the female creature and that the male creature is therefore named Frankenstein.
