"People can relate to the freshness of somebody who doesn't give a damn about civilization."
I assume he managed to say this with a straight face. Impressive.
This is my problem as well.
I played these games when they came out. But that was then, we're at now now. We can't go back to then, because we past then...just now.
I never thought I'd see the day where I didn't jump with glee at the prospect of an updated FF6. Square has finally broken me. Its impossible for me to get excited for anything they do these days.
:(
Does bandage girl from super meat boy count?
I guess you can see her as "cute", but definitely not sexy or curvy in general.
She's got the same powers as meat boy, and takes on the hardest levels of the game.
I don't think lack of interest = hate-wagon. Seems like Ed130 has some legitimate concerns based on Capcom's history with dlc, along with the current trends for F2P games.
"Matsuda has some thoughts on how to solve the problem. Free to Play has deeply impressed him."
I initially read this as "Free to Play has deeply depressed him."
Then I read the rest of the article, and became deeply depressed.
EA figured any sales for this game, would be from people who don't read gaming news, so they wouldn't know what a piece of shit it is.
Sadly (I liked simcity 2000), I hope this is the last we hear of this game.
The best way to do each mission is stealth with 0 kills(even a few achievements for it). Beyond that, if you kill a cop or civilian it causes harder cops to show up quicker. So you're more encouraged to keep the body count as low as possible.
There are a few missions where the cops are on...
"The basic philosophy [of loot 2.0] is we wanna make sure that playing the game is the most fun, the most rewarding way to get items."
I'm sorry but it seems a little fucked up that its taking 2 years from release to figure this out.
/tinfoil hat on
It seems like the RMAH isn't making...
I've got a xbox controller for my pc. Also have an arcade style joystick, along with a cheap flightstick (for tie fighter).
Do I win something? Please, say I win something.
Or Microsoft could've done an offline mode, like somebody else did. It seems to be possible to have cake(DRM online), and eat it too(offline mode). They never explained why offline was impossible, cuz its not.
Looking towards the future is one thing, but forcing it on people before it...
I think its the steam sales. I picked up dishonored for $10 during this summer's sale. Duck tales is great, but there are so many great games out there for $10-$15. Wishlisted for now, getting Guacamelee instead.
