    A very valid statement. I would argue though, that aside from certain art styles, say, such as Rayman, the greater the polygon count and other such improvements, the better it looks, and this is what the OP is asking, will the focus on looking good -aesthetics- subtract from good gameplay.

    The main reason I'm not a fan is the huge success it has, I don't mind games doing well, but when it does well to a point, every other developer tries to copy it. This leads to the stagnation people are always on about.

    Awesome, one of my favourite RTS's. Shame they scrapped CoHO, that was really fun, hopefuly at least they'll expand the multiplayer experience on this one somewhat.

    All the titles were created by indie developers, EA is simply bringing them to the masses, I fail to see how this is a bad thing.
