The thing you need to understand about the old EU is that when it was good it was really good and when it was bad it was really, really bad. They seem to be drawing elements from the Legacy of the Force series which is mostly agreed as being in the latter category.
Luke tries to train a new generation of Jedi, Han and Leia's emo teenage daughter throws a temper tantrum and destroys it and then goes on to join the empire 2.0.
Now there is a new, extremely powerful dark side user who is using their power to inflict death and destruction on the innocent...
I have managed to beat it due to recently breaking my leg and having nothing else to do. I think it is a hell of a lot better than Final Fantasy 13 but honestly that is not saying much as I am of the opinion that there was not s single redeeming thing about 13 or it's squeals.
Combat system...
So which one of them do you think is going to turn out to be a Jedi in hiding since Order 66 who will give their lives facing off against Vader so the others can escape?
Not really but to be honest by the time they turned up I had completely checked out of the show. I know a lot of people liked it and I am glad they did but I got very little enjoyment from watching LoK. I simply did not like damn near every character and that simply made the show something I did...
Could not agree more with what they did with Toph in LoK but how they portrayed Aang pissed me off even more. I can buy his kids being resentful that he could not spend as much time with them as kids because he was the Avatar but I refuse to believe that Aang would have, for even one second...
Less copy-paste from A new hope but my two main ones are Luke's exile and Kylo Ren.
Luke trying and failing to train new Jedi, resulting in all of his new recruts dead thus making him go into exile, I can believe that. But leaving a powerful dark side user to run around the galaxy to inflict...
If I lived in the MCU I would very much want superheros to be held accountable for their actions. But I would sure as hell not trust politicians with that power. So while I understand Iron Man and even agree with part of his point of view, I have to stand with the Cap.
I think this is great news. I really like him as the Doctor I just think that he has had some really bad stories/writing to work with. It will be interesting to see what he can do with a new showrunner.
That is actually not as bad as I expected. I figured it would be your typical 'Our City is being destroyed. Please save us mighty America' type thing. Thanks.
I realise that this is just a dumb action movie but can somebody explain to me why when London is being blown up the only one who can save us is one random American?
Regardless the first one was kind of fun for what it is so I might try and see this one. That being said as someone who has...
Despite my disagreements with some of the things Portnow says I am still willing to give him the benafit of the doubt but every time TB has been in for chemo he has left a tweet saying he will not be around for a few days because of it. Very possable he did not know, but also not impossable that...
I knew Portnow did it as well but I seem to remember that Moviebob jumped on the opportunity as well. Guess I was misremembering. Side note, what the hell happened to Portnow? I have been liserning to old Co optional podcasts at work (do data entry and it is a great way to hold back the bordem)...
You have no idea. At one point he starting trashing Totalbiscuit on Twiiter, timing his tweets to coinside with one of Tb's chemo treatments so that he would be unable to defend himself. I liked his content and tolarated his personality but when this happened. I just stopped watching his stuff...
