I know you've play your share of X-Com but if you haven't given The Long War mod a shot I'd try it. Doesn't work for me so I can't speak from experience but I've watched some videos and it's basically just a longer-term X-Com with steamroll tactics coming into play less.

I've always like the name Damian, but even so I've become so used to my current name and I like my surname enough that I doubt I'd ever go through with it. I've been told I look like a Simon or a Richard so I guess if I was pushed I might pick one of those.
