For the 360, try Sacred 2. It's a co-op in a RPGish way. I haven't played it yet, but I've had a couple people rave about it to me. For PS2 I agree with Okami. My best friend was obsessed with this game, and she has the same kind of tastes as you described of your girlfriend.
