    Poll: Tupac or Biggie?

Tupac was never really my style, and Biggie had better lyrics and arguably better flow. So yeah.

What's the last "old" movie you watched for the first time?

Not new, certainly, but when I think of old movies, something like Gladiator wouldn't cross my mind.

What's the last "old" movie you watched for the first time?

I would not consider a movie released in 2000 to be "old," but that's just me probably. I saw City Lights the other day. Chaplin!

What is your favorite/least favorite musical instrument?

All musical instruments are good when played well. There is no such thing as a bad instrument. (making the assumption that the instrument has a history of usage, so don't pull semantics on me here) I do have a particular preference for the bassoon and clarinet, because those are what I can play...

    Poll: Emotions and such.

Animals absolutely have emotions. Just for one example, there are countless examples of animals mourning their dead. (Not like bugs and stuff, but mammals and certain birds and reptiles) Many animals are rational, too - smarter animals like ravens and dolphins and spiders have been known to...

    Poll: Emotions and such.

Very false. If there are no emotions, there is no motivation. All actions are fueled by an emotional impulse, even if that emotion is simply that of preservation-based desires. Without motivation, there is no action, and the lack of action is just about as inefficient as you can get.

Poll: Abraham Lincoln: the greatest human ever?

Certainly notable and admirable among historic world leaders, but not the best person. We all know that is Patrick Stewart.

    Art or science?

We, as society, cannot exist without either. It's like asking whether I would rather have my heart than my brain. They work together. You could make the argument that there is no art without science, and vice-versa.

Poll: Your own life - Or ten strangers lifes?

I genuinely do not now. One one hand, killing them results in -9 (-10+1) lives, whereas killing myself results in +9. On the other hand, I don't think I could make a conscious decision to kill myself. I'm not even talking like I wouldn't want lay down my life, I just don't think I could.

A question to Musicians out there.

The world needs more bassoonists. Also don't listen to the other guy. Clarinet's a fine instrument too and makes just as much sense as sax. When I was in middle school they wouldn't even let you play sax unless you had experience on clarinet.

    I will debate almost anything

Part of me objects to the honing of the ability of argument just for the sake of using it to to be able to convincingly purport something that may very well be rooted in lies. It serves no greater purpose other than personal satisfaction, perhaps at the expense of others. Actually, argue that.

Why aren't you a vocal one.

I'm quite fond of Emily Haines, but I would be skeptical to say she's the best. Same goes for My Dear Disco's Michelle Chamuel. Part of me wants to say Sakhile Moleshe for his work with Goldfish and another wants to say Bruce Dickinson. But in the end I may have to agree with Stevie Wonder.

Poll: Game stop, who hates it?

I generally use either GameStop or Amazon. I've had fairly good experience with GS, though. This one guy who works there knows what games I like and only asks me to preorder things that fall into that category. Nice fellow.

    Revolution Crushed (a Thought excercise)

Ok depends what you mean. If this also undoes the years of salutary neglect on the colonies, then there would be no desire for independence (at least not for some time). If salutary neglect still occurred and Britain just suddenly brought down the hammer, then the rebellion would still go...
