My theory has long been at the advent of 3D, every game genre had to try it lest they be considered stagnant. Platformers, as well as fighters, gave it a go, it largely didn't work, and they've gone back to 2D because that worked just fine.
In my (thus far) one playthrough, I made the conscious decision to pretty much walk everywhere and essentially avoid fast travel. It's a little something I picked up in Oblivion days: see the world, work up skills the old fashioned way, and of course the little moments. Such is my tale...
I believe it was Linkara who said "Unless an idea catches outside of mainstream comics, don't count on sticking around more than a year or so."
Or something like that. Dude's got 300+ episodes now; I'm not looking for the real quote. My point (and I do have one) is Liam Hemsworth. You know...
If the 3DS is going to be Nintendo's go-to platform for resurrecting their dead franchises, then come on Big N, Startropics 3. Look, it even has a 3 at the end! You can make it big and bold on the cover to signify it's both the third game and on the 3DS on that same clever way everyone does!
*sharpening knives*
Revolution, huh? It's insane, has zero chance of working, and I wholeheartedly support it. It's been too long since we've had one of those.
Genesis
Nomad
Game Gear
Saturn
Yeah, four systems can coexist for a time. It's just a really bad idea for four systems from one company to coexist at the same time. You DO remember what happened to your rival from the 90's when they had four simultaneous systems, right, Nintendo?
I see I'm not the only one who caught that.
No, much like the "Hot Coffee" hoopla surrounding GTA: San Andreas, the nude Oblivion skins were made by Bethesda and shipped on every disk. The only way you could access the nude skins (or Hot Coffee) was mods, but that's not how the ESRB rolls...
Pfft. I was saying they should do that two years ago. [a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.69256-Playbox-Xstation#654760]On this very site, in fact,[/a] and I stand by what I said then.
Also, huzzah for relatively low post counts making old points easy to find.
Well, I don't have any of those. What price minor internet stardom? Let's find out...
Base 360: $199.99
Base PS3: $299.99
Base Wii: $199.99
Base iPod Touch: $229.00
Sonic 4 (4 copies): $55.00
Grand Total: $983.97 (tax not included)
Hmm. Thanks, but...
Ah, Star Wars and 3D. Two great tastes that taste great together.
No, that didn't come out right. Two thoroughly beaten concepts that have no business being anywhere near each other, and could both stand to fuck right off for a while.
Yeah, that's more like it.
I'd go into more detail...
Normally I avoid these "versus" kind of threads, but as long as just now giving the Firefox 4 beta a whirl, might as well do something else crazy. It's a red letter day!
Besides, I want to annoy those who point to BioWare games as near bugless by pointing them to the [a...
