    Zero punctuation music

It is a different track, that was the theme for the old Escapist podcast. The ZP theme is downloadable here: http://video.escapistmagazine.com/audio/116741/zero-punctuation-theme_2009-06-29-163416.mp3&playCount=up Glad you like it. :D

214: Sex and the Single Player

Nice article, Russ. I enjoyed it greatly. Yes, yes they were. I never stumbled over copulating bums, but I did accidentally interrupt a couple of tweakers snorting cocaine off of a filthy bathroom sink. Also, there was the time we played an outdoor show and some really stoned dude was...

    New Syndicate Game Confirmed

The first one is great, but it's ugly as sin by today's standards, and difficult to get running on a modern PC.

    Metal thread

Yes. I like most of the stuff Devin puts out, even the goofy stuff. He'll probably never top City or Ocean Machine, though.

    Metal thread

What it's like is awesome. By far my favorite metal release of the year. Glad to hear you guys mention Meshuggah. They're one of my faves. Nowadays I find a lot of metal to be too stylistically inbred to hold my attention but those guys never fail to entertain me.

Review: Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

It's not just the dialogue, it's the fact that the NPCs feel compelled to chatter at you every 5-10 seconds. I was driving a tank to an outpost last night with a UP merc in the gunner seat, and I think I heard every possible dialogue option 3 or 4 times. I wanted to get out of the tank and...

    164: Baang You're Dead

The event in question happened more than 3 years ago, and was extensively covered in the press at the time. If it wasn't successfully "snapped up by the courts, and anyone wanting to ban games" then, I think it's probably safe to say that this article doesn't place our hobby in too much jeopardy.

GameSpy Says Sony Beating Microsoft Online

I'd be more interested in Todd Northcutt's assessment of the online playing field if I'd ever had anything but horrible experiences with GameSpy-powered PC games.

E3 2008: Escape TV: Legendary, TNA Impact

Awesome. As for Legendary, I have two words: Turning Point. Legendary looks neat, but Spark has a lot to prove after the horrendous failure that was their previous game.

    Motion Sickness: The Gamer's Bane

I once puked up an entire spaghetti dinner after watching my friend play Spear of Destiny for an hour. I was sneezing little noodles out of my nose for days. I'm pretty much impervious to motion sickness in FPS games, as long as I'm the one playing, but I still get sick watching other people...

Games you really wanted to be good

Same here. I liked it well enough, I guess, but like most of the movies with Barker's name attached, it could have been so much more.
