It had to be the new Simcity. I've been rather saddened at the lack of big management games like I loved in the 90's. I was thinking, "hell yeah! Sim freaking city. EA will not be so stupid as to mess with this baby".
But then the review facts started rolling in and I realised...
Recently? The Tree of Life.
I wanted to take a drill to my own head during that film. I hang out with a lot of other cinema fans and they would not shut up about how deep and complex it was. I found it manipulative drivel.
The guy wasn't being extorted. Bay simply hadn't gotten all the permissions he required. The guys throwing punches were asshats but Bay was an asshat himself to go "well screw them, I'll film anyway" before that was sorted.
You don't get the local permissions, you don't get to film, no matter...
Its absolutely superb. Done two playthroughs. First is "what would I do?", the second is BIZARRO BIGBY where I choose the complete opposite of what I did. Bizarro Bigby seems to be more of a lunatic than my Bizarro Lee.
But anyway, I wish this was an animated show on TV! Love the opening titles.

Otherwise its all so horrible. Mini-Jabba...

I had sex on a first date. Had a relationship with her for 8 years. I think peeps find it easy to say that first date sex is rushing but that's just daft. If the magic is there, its there.
Wandering. That's the best. A day out kicks a fancy dinner's ass. You walk round somewhere, check out some quirky stores, look at some art, grab a bite to eat somewhere casual but nice, then make out in a park.
Winning.
I LOVE Fellowship. Feels like an old school "Men on a mission" type of film. Like a DnD party heading out on their adventure. Apart from the mega battle in the prologue, most the actual combat is kept tight and within a small area. I care about these people.
The other two flicks do bore me a...
When I was on jobseekers allowance I was forced to go on a "skills" course. Even though I had a full degree and regular interviews with the media companies I wanted to work for. The course I was sent on was about working at shops stacking shelves or in fast food restaurants. Now though I hated...
Dude, target audience is a necessary evil. It helps keep material focused and on point. Think about all those movies or TV shows that had massive tonal shifts that left you scratching your head because it came out of left field. That came from somebody trying to be an idiot by not considering...
