I love playing through the FEAR games on Hardest difficulty without ever using slo-mo. The firefights are really fast that way. I also played through Mirror's Edge without killing anyone (toss guns away upon disarms, no kicking off edges, etc). I'm a courier, not a murderer.

People should really stop referring to GTA, Battlefield, CoD, and GR:AW when talking about realism. There's a big difference between "realistic" (verisimilitude if your a literary nerd), and "based on a real thing." Yes the CoD games are based on real conflict, but they are not "realistic"...

Ancient Domains of Mystery [http://www.adom.de/], or ADOM for short, is one of the best there is. Overworld, quests, towns, NPCs, multiple dungeons, interesting stories, plenty of artifacts and lore to discover, etc etc. This is certainly a must play for any rogue-like enthusiast.
