Five Nights at Freddy's 5 Announced!

FNAF is pretty much the video game answer to Paranormal Activity, so it's only normal it should get as milked as that movie franchise.

Five Nights at Freddy's 5 Announced!

Scott Cawthon's been talking a lot about the game on the steam forums, here are all his responses on it: On making a fifth entry: "Hey guys, relax. It's just a game series. If you're done with it, then you don't have to stick around. Five Nights at Freddy's isn't going anywhere though, so...

Five Nights at Freddy's 5 Announced!

I think part of the issue is just how the FNAF games are by nature. They're incredibly easy and quick to make. For example a fan has been trying to make FNaF fan games using the same engine and techniques as Scott at the same quality and has already made two, with each taking only about two...

Five Nights at Freddy's 5 Announced!

Over the past few months, Scott Cawthon has been updating his website with strange lines slowly being replaced by text. Today it was finally completed and the result is: Five Nights at Freddy's 5: The Sister Location. The first teaser features a new animatronic that seems to a mix between the...

Scott has donated nearly $300,000 to charity during various FNAF live-stream events, and has mentioned he technically doesn't need to work anymore on the steam forums, so very.

Five Nights at Freddy's World RPG Gets a Trailer

Scott said that was his original plan, but he was amazed that no one figured out the story of FNAF 4 when the other game's stories were figured out in a matter of days. He felt that meant maybe it should stay a mystery forever, and decided to never open the box.

What Makes Five Night's at Freddy's So Special

Scott actually said on a post on the steam forums that he loves GameTheory's videos and that they "got almost everything about the story right." This was before his FNAF 4 GameTheory, however.

Dontnod, I am disappoint... *Life is Strange spoilers inside*

Speaking of Life is Strange borrowing from The Butterfly effect, I just realized, it borrows from something else, especially in how it ends, from another source. Stephen King's novel 11/22/63. It's a book about a man named Jake Epping who discovers a way to travel back in time to 1963...

Dragon Age: Inquisition: Trespasser DLC Leaked

A survey leaked a few weeks ago, which had all the details of this DLC correct, said it was the Inquisitor's "last adventure" or something along those lines.

Dragon Age: Inquisition: Trespasser DLC Leaked

The next and final DA:I DLC had a trailer uploaded on EA Spain's youtube account. It was taken down quickly, but not before mirrors went up, like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=70&v=UDQTZa4ZmBU The plot seems to be about the qunuari declaring war on Thedas and invading through Eluvians...

Franchises that would make ideal Telltale episodic adventure game.

Seeing what they can do with sci-fi comedy and incredibly black humor in Tales from the Borderlands, coupled with their work with Adult Swim in Poker Night 2 makes one choice plainly obvious to me. Rick and Morty. It would be a perfect fit.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Revealed

Scott Cawthon has released the trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 4. It seems he's taken the longer than usual development time to take some criticism to heart and make an entirely new type of game. Instead of watching cameras, you play as a child who can freely move about their home (which...

2K Teases New Sci-Fi Title: "Advent"

Hmm, a game about a Utopian city founded on ideals of a "perfect vision of the world" that has instead gone horribly wrong. A society that is based around, according the viral website, "DNA splicing and gene therapy." Are we sure this isn't a new BioShock game? (2k did say they had the...
