Marvel Heroes Executive Defends $129 DLC

I've been a pretty big Marvel comics fan for around 20 years, but they would have to pay me to play this game. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, (only a couple hours) but I was disappointed.

What We Don't Know About Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman

I don't know whats changed in the New 52 version of WW, but the Thor movies prove that audiences do have some tolerance for 'Comics are Weird'ness. And ancient greek super warriors are popular as ever. I think a WW solo movie could work. I mean, the act one pitch is; an air force audience...

    Complacency in Storytelling

Being thrust into a battle with no context or motivation only really works in the historically based Call of duty games. World War 2 provided all the backstory and context, so Call of Duty games haven't had to, until now. Even Modern Warfare 1 was close enough to reality to understand what...

Call of Duty: Ghosts' Extinction Mode Classes Detailed

I wish a Call of Duty game would concentrate on co-op. Instead they make a short solo campaign, killbox multipayer and for co-op, a monster horde mode that people like for some reason. I really like co-operative multiplayer, but generally dislike 'horde survival' gametypes. Seriously, give me...

The Red Cross Wants Games to Respect The "Rules of War"

I haven't played Black Ops 2 or CoD 3, but in the eight other CoD campaigns that I have played I can only think of two occasions where enemies were taken prisoner and not killed. (some Jerries surrender to Price in CoD2, and some terrorists in MW3 are apprehended in the London tube if you...

No Right Answer: Superhero That Most Deserves a TV Series

I concur entirely. Have Luke, Iron Fist, Misty Knight and Coleen Wing as main cast members and a bunch of B grade spiderman villains as kung-fu fodder. I think the Power Broker would be a good shot-caller type villain to start with because it would provide a good explanation for where all...

Who here will not be playing GTAV?

Not on PC. And the game would likely melt my dusty old computer anyway.

Ant-Man's New Release Date Spells Trouble

Hmmm... I thought the Antman flick would come out first, introduce Ultron and set him up for being the villain for Avengers movie 2. Maybe they are changing his origins, no longer created by Hank Pym? Anyway, hope this movie is decent. Antman is a bit lame, but shrinking/growing powers...

Rumor: Marvel Wants Joseph Gordon-Levitt For Doctor Strange

There is a welsh guy named Luke Evans that would be a good Dr. Strange. JGL would be good for lots of other marvel characters though.

    I applaud you, Telltale

Yes, Telltale's Walking Dead Season 1 was some powerful stuff. I laughed, cheered, was stunned, was angry and, yes, even teared up a bit(in a manly way). The creators understood that good zombie stories come from the living characters not the undead ones. I consider this my new favorite...

Have you ever had player's remorse?

Fallout 3 spoilers. Even worse is when you do what you think is the right thing, and end up regretting it. In Fallout 3 I convinced the safe and rich residents of Tenpenny Tower to allow a group of ghouls to immigrate from their nearby squalid subway station instead of killing them...

    Darth Vader Back For EpVII

People liked the original trilogy heroes. BUT if Luke, Leia and Han are the main heroes again, they should recast them with younger actors. After Indiana Jones 4, I'm open to recasting of classic characters. Harrison Ford is awesome, but the likes of Indy and Han Solo are just not as cool...

A Plot Hole in The Walking Dead(TV Series)

Well, zombie-poison or not, corpses rotting into your drinking water is bad.

A Plot Hole in The Walking Dead(TV Series)

With classic zombies, their bite is just superpowered-certain-death-poison or something, impervious to medicine and remedied only by chopping off affected areas before it travels, presumably, through your blood. I don't question the zombie poison, but I do wonder in this show about transmission...

What 1,000+ page novels have you read?

Recently read 'Under the Dome' by Stephen King, about a new england town trapped under an invisible impenetrable dome. Currently reading 'the Covenant' by James Michener, about the history of South Africa. Epic length is ok, but I think I prefer shorter novels.
