I started watching this without reading the article. I fully expected the article to say it was actually a fake fan-made trailer. I am now significantly less interested in the new SW movie.
Between Hyrule Warriors this month, Bayonetta 2 next month and Smash Bros. in December, I can't justify buying a 3-4 month old game for new release price in November. If they sell it for an MSRP or eshop price of $30 or less, I'd grab it, but otherwise it'll have to wait a few months to drop in...
After watching this episode, I went and got a copy of this movie and watched it. I expected a crappy movie with a few classic D&D call outs. It's actually not horrible, though I wouldn't say it is good. The dialogue actually sounds like the kind of shit people at my D&D games would come up...
I have a strange relationship with Uwe Boll movies. I would never claim any of them are of high or even good quality. More often than not they contain shallow writing, dry, uninspired performances and poor casting choices but for some reason I genuinely enjoy about half of the films he makes...
Watching the Nintendo livestream this was probably the biggest surprise for me. I really like the idea behind this game and I hope it gets marketed well and helps move Wii U consoles. I just wish I enjoyed competitive multiplayer or that the game has a single player campaign.
Bayonetta 2 was the primary reason I bought a Wii U so having a solid release window, if not a specific date, is very good news to me. I also planned on replaying the first one just before the new one is released, but I think I'll hold off on that and see what the Wii U version offers instead...
I hope that the guy at 1:00 is just wearing a really dumb helmet and isn't a new race of lion people. I'd really hate to have to stop playing Dragon Age games.
I was first introduced to table top RPGs when I was 7 or 8 when my older brother started playing AD&D 2nd Edition. I played a bit with him, but I really got into them on my own when I was 13 or 14 and I discovered Shadowrun.
The web breaks down at the Streetfighter connection. "Mike" from Streetfighter 1 isn't Mike Tyson he is Balrog, who in Japan is still called M. Bison, a fictional and thus "video game real world, not real real world" version of Mike Tyson.
I really like the idea of Prodigy. It looks like Skylanders for grown ups, which is a good thing. It's a shame that like Skylanders it will probably cost a fortune.
I think a good way to support gay rights without forcing the issue is not to make it a sub-plot but to normalize gay relationships in the film universe. So a plot focusing on saving a gay character, or defeating a homophobic villain isn't the way to go. Rather, something like in the...
I was going to come on and ***** about the 10% of the human brain myth, but you guys seem to have it covered. Thank you Escapist community, my faith in humanity hasn't fallen as much as it could have today.
