I'm a straight male gamer, convince me diversity in games is a good thing

Because a diverse range of people play games. Because a diverse range of people have stories to tell through games. Because diversity doesn't define a game, diversity doesn't make a game good or bad nor does it define the genre. It is not like people sit down and go "hmmm what to play...

Most disappointing game you ever bought this year

Thief. I am a stealth fan so I thought that I was going to be in for some fun. It was so dull that I barley got through the first non-tutorial mission. At least it taught me to not preorder anymore. Broken age was also a little disappointing. Not in the same way though.

    Recommend a Stealth Game!

I love stealth games, I have played most of the major ones like you. I would say that the Mark of the Ninja is probably the best stealth game I have ever played. All the others have great qualities that i have really enjoyed but purely for the stealth mechanics, MotN wins hands down for me.

    steam hate, why?

I have received a refund from Steam. The reason they will not refund most of the time is that there is no legitimate reason to do it. Just because you didn't like the game doesn't give you the right to a refund. I have never encountered speed issues on Steam, then again I live in Australia...

    "Vaccines don't save lives"

My family believes all this stuff. I don't. I have never been vaccinated, never had anything worse than chicken pox, but I am well aware of the herd immunity effect. I know vaccines have some minor risks but they are nothing compared to whole communities being unvaccinated. The polio virus...

    Poll: Fantasy or Scifi?

To me SciFi and Fantasy are really the same genre. Where fantasy has magic scifi has SCIENCE! Where fantasy has elves, dwarves, goblins etc. scifi has aliens. Where fantasy has lands of desert, archipelagos, vast forests etc, scifi has planets that are usually entirley made up of one of...

Gogogic CEO Says Single-Player is a "Gimmick"

PR stunt. Move along, nothing to see here. I can't imagine how this obvious PR stunt was considered newsworthy enough to post in the first place.

Best Plot Twist in a Game EVER

This. Probably the best twist in any medium I have ever encountered.

    Poll: Favorite Spell in Dishonored

Blink ruined the game. I got through the game with no kills quite easily because you can easily avoid ever being seen. And Mana regenerates when not double used....The game was far too easy.

    Poll: Dishonored

Yeah, I am finding the game play great, I really liked the combat in Dark Messiah too and I am also a fan of AC and Mirrors Edge. I quite like the game so far, it just feels a little unrefined in some aspects.

    Poll: Dishonored

What do you guys think of it? I have only played a small amount so far (Damn Uni work!) but I can say a bit about it: The Good -Great game play for both stealth and combat. The way you are detected/avoid detection is quite good and the combat is fast-paced and visceral. -The world is...

Commit one crime that is a reference to a game or gamer term

Off the top of my head. Kill a target with a fiber wire without ever being noticed or leaving any evidence that could lead me anyone to identify me. Get paid a lot of money. =OR= Have myself killed with a golf club and write in blood on the walls A MAN CHOOSES, A SLAVE OBEYS!
