I got pretty heavy for awhile after some health issues that kept me from being active. I've taken it all off again, but I can tell you for sure that I was treated very differently (particularly in restaurants and stores) when I was overweight.

I think this is an exceptionally generous gesture, especially considering that for the vast majority of PSN users the Playstation network was free in the first place (excluding PSN Plus of course).

I'd be shocked it it did very well. I took a look at it last Saturday and was surprised to find plenty of them still available. I was actually really shocked how uncomfortable it was looking at that screen. It reminded me of how you had to half-cross your eyes to see those old 3D noise...

I think anyone making comments in poor taste needs to remember that the TEN THOUSAND ESTIMATED PEOPLE DEAD were for the most part pretty much like you, me, and anyone else you know. Making shitty remarks is poor taste, insensitive, callous, immature, and just plain mean, in the worst way...

I used to have a game informer subscription. Just about the only time I ever read them I was on the toilet. Then I rediscovered the fun of my PSP on the toilet and never looked back. I beat Resistance Retribution while on the toilet. Not in one sitting.

I've worked on a couple. The reason they usually suck is because not only do they have extremely tight, rigid deadlines, but they also have the bonus of having to be cleared by the licensee at each step, which to a degree means that they are a "design by committee" affair. Look to Pandemic's...

Personally, I like down-loadable games for portables. Not futzing with media (like UMDs) is only a good thing when you're on the go. Sucks up far less battery power, too. I think Sony has all but admitted the UMD thing was the wrong way to go. PSP Go was an awesome idea that came about far...

It's out now in the U.S. I figured there might be someone that got it at a midnight release, hates it, and wants to complain about it. I'm interested. :-)
