I got Neptune U based on the supposed similarities to SK, and I guess they exist. But while the fanservice is much stronger in SK the focus is really on the gameplay, which is really good. And challenging. Especially the boss battles. Neptune U is a button masher with some anime chicks...

Infinity is actually not such a bad game. The combat engine is by Ninja Theory of DmC acclaim. So now I am hoping that I can get that Marvel playset for cheaps real soon. For my lil boy of course ;)

Last game I bought was NG:Z Yaiba, which I found for cheap at a nearby retailer. Not sure I will finish the final boss. Can't figure out how to damage his second form and not super motivated to keep trying but a fun romp of a game up to that point. For the cheap pricepoint that is. Next game...

Haven't played Bloodborne and not sure I will. But how anyone can rate DkS1 over DkS2 is beyond me. I died more on the way to and against Darklurker alone than the entire first game.

A lot of the criticism about cheesy story, one dimensional characters, unexplained superpowers etc would apply to those games as well. Of course they play a lot better but turn up the difficulty and some of the boss battles will take you back :)

Lots of things. Bad mechanics, not knowing where to go next, a frustrating (boss)battle, a long boring stretch. But always combined with an already low motivation to play the game. In a game I am commited to none of the above are a problem.
