Are the stormtroopers meant to wading in water at the bottom of the image? Because if they are that's a damn shallow shore. Kinda thought Yahtzee would make a joke about how Darth Vader's face has been spraypainted onto the death star but the tattoo joke more than made up for it.
Soooo....its Tales of Symphonia with no relatable characters, no real interesting plot moments and worse combat.

Hmmm, maybe not then. Funny review though, kinda what I expected when I saw a JRPG's name.
Borderlands would top my list.
God damn did that game have a crappy ending! Just a mediocre boss, then BANG credits with no character pay off and no closure, not even in the DLC missions.
Dark Souls 1 kinda peeved me as well. I know it was going for the whole soul crushing pointlessness...
I find it funny how many other people have already mentioned it but, yea, Valkyrie Chronicles is one for me. Got super far in it as well; but that stupid bullcrappy story moment when one of the characters goes really pulled me out of it. Especially since I'm a "keep every teammate alive" kinda...
Got to say, you've pretty much summed up my own issues with the movie - though I hadn't realized it was exactly this that was bugging me. Once again, the director has done the same thing he did with the Star Trek movies - make the film as widely appealing and unoffensive as possible.
I knew...
Actually, in the most recent Nathan Drake trailer he is looking pretty daddish at the start; all older man beard and working in a little filing office. Looks like a brother might be showing up as well so, surrogate dadding maybe?
I've always found that with Yahtzee. For all that he jokes around he usually manages, in 5 minutes, to critique the games he reviews better than "proper" review sites do.
OP: The minute I found the protagonist was voiced and there was now binary speech options it immediately set off my...
While it would be fun to imagine its some cackling conspiracy of corporate types unfortunately its probably just plain bone idleness I'm afraid. I've kind of given up on pc ports recently - Arkum Knight was so laggy it completely just broke the game for me. More than it already was I mean...
Esshh, kinda a hard one for me to answer.
Well, practically its not an issue I'll probably ever have to deal with; I've been with the same woman 10 years since I was 16 and we both lost our virginity's together. Still, we do have a more relatively open relationship as time has gone on AND...
So, in summary, another lazily developed movie vaguely aiming at a kind of kid demographic; but missing out on any of the actual spark and enjoyment that actually makes a GOOD kid aimed movie. Goddamn, I almost deluded myself into thinking that this one could at least be interesting. Not just...
A GOOD Secret of Mana sequel; though Seiken Deitsu 3 was pretty good but I've only been able to play it on emulators whcih is naughty. Seriously, played the game on my snes the other day and was reminded about how fun it is and yet none of its modern sequels seem to capture the same magic.
I still think that, though it has started to become THE generic set-up for a game, a sandbox environment can still offer new opportunities for gameplay variance. I liked how DA:I used its game world; finally making the world of Thedas live up to the more epic scope that all the lore is always...
Fear the might of the Moogle Black Mage!
And he became my avatar because:
1. Black Mages are awesome.
2. Moogles are awesome - liked them since Secret of Mana all those years ago.
3. FF Tactics A2 is still one of my favourite games of all time.
4. I too suffer from being short and...
