I didn't kill him but when i first did the companion quest that turns you into a werewolf he (for some reason) rushed to my defense against the town guard in that brief sequence and got himself killed. It was kind of touching in a way.
Love them for borderlands. I understand that they pushed out Duke Nukem to get it over and done with and that for legal reasons they needed to get Aliens: Colonial Marines done very quickly. So overall, they're pretty good in my books.

I despise it, it's a fucking pain in the ass to see what videos my subscriptions have posted. It's hard to quickly search videos from a particular channel and they've messed up playlists (how i listen to music whilst i game).
VII was the first i played. VIII was the first i owned. Have since completed I and VI-XIII-2. Still love the series and still rush out to buy the newest "main" game in the series :-)
