What a coincidence - I just played through Mother 1 (or rather the translated NES version "Earthbound Zero") for the first time a couple of days ago! :)
I really liked the game; I've always been a fantasy guy, but I found the "current day" setting mixed with all sorts of weird and wacky stuff...
I completely agree with both sentences ? Gone Home was hands down my favorite game of 2013, and I'd love to hear Yahtzee's opinion on it. I can't tell if he, as a writer, would love it, or if he'd (for partly the same reason) hate it.
That was by far the best episode in a long time! Far from yawning out some jokes over some game he didn't care for at all, it's clear that this time Yahtzee really DOES care, and it shows. Good critique and good tempo.
I detect huge quantities of fail for that mutated EyeToy. Apart from the space requirements, who would want to play something without any buttons whatsoever?! There's a limit to how many tennis or Wave-your-arms-around party games people will want to buy.
NINE years in the making?! Damn, I wouldn't get that game even if it WAS good.
And from Yahtzee's "review" and from what else I've seen about it, happily it doesn't seem to be.
This made me lol. Just awsome. :D
The fact that most people in this thread didn't seem to get it at all made me lol again though. Seriously you people.
Cleavage or not, ENN is steadily becoming my favourite show here at the Escapist.
Zero Punctuation may have its ups and downs, but ENN is always funny, informative and creative. I really admire your work guys and gals! :)
Jolly good episode! And what a cute and utterly bored kitty! <3
I think. Actually, I could barely tear my eyes from Kathleen's incredible cleavage... >.>
