    Good obscure Pre-1995 PC games?

A couple of good mac-exclusives from the era in question would fit the bill. They're Bungie's early games. Pathways Into Darkness is fun (albeit requiring a mac emulator to run on a PC) and the Marathon Trilogy is worth a play. Best part: Bungie released them for free a few years back.

Modern Warfare 2 Enters Guinness Book of Records

I find it interesting that video games like Modern Warfare 2 retail for around $60, whereas movies cost a mere $10 (at least at my local theater). Perhaps we should compare apples to apples, as in units sold versus simply using gross income. For a film to gross $100 million, it would require...

Remember your very first (video game)?

Castle Wolfenstein played on the Apple IIgs That game was tons of fun. I especially enjoyed holding up the SS guy with an empty pistol, stealing the bullets out of his pistol, his bulletproof vest and his uniform, and then shooting him. :) oh,and opening up a dumpster and finding some...

    New Mechwarrior game confirmed.

If you look in the video, the light 'mech is labeled 'Jenner-D', the Atlas is labeled 'Atlas-C' and the 'mech that is being piloted is, indeed, labeled 'Warhammer' The video is also labeled 'In-Game Footage' which just rocks. Now I'm excited about this, and want to play it.

Tesla's invention of a practical method for distributing and using AC power, which is what we use for electricity all over the globe, has got to be one of the most important inventions enabling the developments we have made in the past century.

    Gaming Laptops

Mine was pretty much the standard HDX-116t model from HP. The only thing I did was to ass more RAM and switch to a 64 bit OS. Both of these customizations are [in my opinion] worth the money I also spent a LOT of time comparison shopping before I bought my HP. I would suggest doing a lot of...

    Clever Riddles/Puzzles

depends on the base of the system you're working in. in binary, 1+1=10. On a 1 bit system, this would be represented as 1+1=0 anyhting higher than base 2 will represent the sum as 1+1=2 we work in a 3-bit computer system 4=100 -4=100 [two's complement] 0=000 due to an overflow...
