In Silent hill there is no need for a insanity mechanic because one ending up in silenthill means that one is pretty insane already. Also The suffering used an insanity effect although it was much more scripted but it sure gave me the creeps from time to time.

It's a great sequel my only gripe is the crashing of the game without any aparent reason. I've bought the game's special edition so it has nothing to do with it being an illegal copy. I've updated my drivers and my directX (running win7 64bit btw) and my computer has enough power to run this game.

You're a big daddy so you can easily withstand the recoil of a shotgun :P The combat is very fun A bit chaotic from time to time regardig plasmid and ammo switching imo.
