It was deliberate, but creators weren't into cannon welding back then so they just put fun references in tease fans. Ripley Scott is still a great director... but he's a really bad judge of scripts.
Exactly when did Nintendo regress to getting stuck in 1989? I suppose they are pandering to nostalgia of generation X and millennials. Not a bad thing really but I prefer good new games not rehashes of games I had on NES.
Same here! Never played it originally. flying_whimsy there are ports of resident evil 1, 2 and 3 that were put out when the games were new. But they can be hard to get running on modern systems.
That's the odd thing, TOS always had the sex appeal, but it wasn't completely over the top and the scripts were great the whole story was not based around T and A and explosions unlike the bs we got in the two reboot movies.
