I really don't see the Deadpool comparison..? Just because its trying to be funny? This also looks very much like a family movie which Deadpool most definitely wasn't.
This movie is more or less a direct adaption of Geoff Johns New 52 Shazam! book, pretty much everything in this trailer is...
The thing is though it's not unheard of for a long ongoing narrative (book,TV etc) to completely scrap an original preplanned ending if the creators feel it has been leaked or spoiled in some way just to keep the ending a surprise, and with so many fans connected across the internet...
And that is precisely what makes them better than everything else.
Seriously though if that is an unpopular opinion: to like pretty much everything so called "true gamers" get hung up on for not being "gamey" enough or trying to hard to be movies then I guess that's it.
Linear, story...
I enjoy replaying all the Uncharted games from time to time in much the same way I enjoy rewatching certain films, just to experience the story again.
Generally though most games, even ones I really like are just too big and require too much of a time commitment to replay often.
I don't know much about how film ratings are determined I just compared it with the violence in other films I've seen that didn't warrant an R rating. I may be remembering implied violence but not actually shown onscreen...
Maybe film ratings are different in Australia? I don't see a lot of R...
I really struggle to see what the R rating really brought to this film as a whole and why so many people seem to insist it as being vital to its success somehow?
What would it really lose without it? A few F bombs, some of the more crass jokes? Most of the violence didn't seem all that worthy...
If I were to consider myself a fan of anything it would be Batman.
However...
I really don't care if Batman kills bad guys, not that I think he should just that whenever he has in comics or film's it never bothered me.
Everything that supposedly makes The Joker such a great and iconic...
The picture is certainly cool but I think using all of their logos in place of letters is a bit much, they really struggled with Batman.
OT: I've never been a DCEU hater but honestly... I think just being "okay" is the best this movie can hope for considering everything it has going against...
Just saw it.
It was alright, very enjoyable in fact a fun night at the movies. I'm sure most people won't have any complaints.
I didn't like how little it cared about itself or its predecessor films though.
Thor have always seemed an perplexing character in the MCU in that while he ostensibly offers the most imaginative and expansive setting for telling stories his films have always appeared strangely small in scale. Appropriate juxtaposition in the case of Thor 1, severely mediocre in the case of...
What I'm really curious about in light of this and other celebrity scandals is just how many people are getting away with this kind of behavior right now but who are considered too connected, influential or profitable to be exposed?
It is depressing that so many criminals should only get...
Journey.
Simple yet immersive, little input required yet a lot to take out. Purely therapeutic.
The gaming equivilant of a relaxing bath or a hot cup of tea.
