I'll mention one not on Bob's list: Samurai Cop 2. The original movie is honestly pretty bad, but I love it so much.

For me, I feel differently about all of these studios. Marvel has a very, very good track record so far. They haven't made a truly bad movie yet, just a couple of not-terribly good ones *cough*Iron Man 2*cough* I actively look forward to their movies, even the ones based on characters I know...

So I actually went to see this today. Oh my freaking God, that was a wretched experience. Pretty much any and all development is either cut out or glossed over, so it's really difficult to get involved with anything that's happening. And then certain parts just drag on like you wouldn't believe.

I think it's a bit ridiculous to call Prince of Egypt better than Ten Commandments. Both are incredible films, but damn that original has a lot going for it.

Fair point. It's been ages since I watched that review. I just remember that out of nowhere dig at Prometheus in his Oblivion review last year and going- "Wait what?"

So Bob is saying Exodus is the worst film Scott has ever made? I find that hard to believe, as I hated The Counselor far more than anything he had made before that point. He's backpedaling and jumping on the hate bandwagon like he did with Man of Steel and Dark Knight Rises.

Just gave the Director's Cut a watch last night, and it was pretty awesome. I'm not sure of all the differences, but the "to be continued" ending mentioned here wasn't included.

The sarcasm in the review kind of annoyed me, but the movie itself was actually pretty darn good in my estimation. The sequels weren't bad, either, but I don't remember that much about the third.
