    In Regards to Wild West

I know I'm not a regular poster, or one of the "well known" players here, but I've been coming and going for a while, and tend to do so these days simply to read the forums on popular media or divisive opinions, which I usually do through the Wild West to get a proper, unfiltered idea of...

I'm having a really hard time finding a romance anime I'd enjoy. Any help in that regard?

I just started exploring anime myself, but I found Gamers! to be a really decent story and an interestingly funny romance that had a decent awareness of the tropes.

    Villains who had a point

I think this last point is why they were talking about doing a shared universe with the Men In Black franchise, back when they thought the reboot was going to be profitable.

    Villains who had a point

Doctor Doom. Originally ruling in peace in his homeland (yes, a dictatorship), his citizenry wanted for nothing and all military or police actions were carried out by robots. His intention was to establish a peaceful utopia for his citizenry by using calculation and machinery to maintain...

Poll: So let's talk about the Ninja Turtles...

I was surprised, but I bought the game for my son, so for my house it's his opinion that mattered. And he almost shit himself over the reveal, and talked about it for an hour, so I'm good on it.

So about all of this sexual assault...

It isn't about right or left, on my end. And I agree with you. I'm an advocate for "trust but verify" when it comes to most things (a happenstance of a tinfoil hat upbringing). I also agree we can't be "all or nothing" on it; I'm saying that we (or, better, allow some kind of investigative...

So about all of this sexual assault...

That's a cowardly tact, but I accept it. It is my choice to defend people who are being sexually assaulted. Are you saying it is your choice to persecute people who are unjustly accused of crimes they didn't commit? At what pay bracket does that become unconscionable? I'm for...

So about all of this sexual assault...

So... it's okay for certain people to be sacrificial lambs, regardless of their innocence or guilt, because of their social class? What about their political affiliations? That seems a bit.. unjust, doesn't it?

    Your most Unpopular Media Opinion

I find the Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition so boring that I can't play them. Maybe they get extraordinary after the first hour, but I can't make it that far. While I play, all I can think about is all of the other things I could be doing with this time.

So about all of this sexual assault...

I think, to put it less antagonistically, can you now understand why people were against the "listen and believe" narrative? That a single declaration should not be treated as the sole evidence necessary to presume guilt?

Has public opinion on Batman The Brave and The Bold changed also whats your thoughts on said series

It's the best thing with Batman in it since the 90s, honestly. It's also a perfect storm of Silver Age when you want to explain that era of comics to people.

    Poll: Justice League

I'm just happy there's somebody trying to corral the continuity, honestly.

    Poll: Justice League

I voted adequate, but that's mainly because I think it will end up like Suicide Squad or Man of Steel: people will argue that it's flaws aren't flaws, but genius writing, and others will only be able to see the flaws. Now, both of those are bad movies (and no, there is no "genius" to any of...

    Diversity in Fiction - Question

Actually, it'd be more accurate to blame the push to Diamond Distribution, which killed the newsstand sales of comics and began the original push towards the speculator bubble. There is currently one company to distribute any mass published comic in the US, and that monopoly is why comic...

    Diversity in Fiction - Question

I don't disagree, and I'm actually a strong supporter of well written Legacy Characters (as I mention earlier, with Miles Moralez). Personally, my issue with the way Marvel is handling it now is that they aren't writing the characters well, or telling compelling (or heroic) stories, but...
