Yes - kickstarter backers will still get the second half in a free update
As far as I'm concerned, I got my kickstarter moneys worth just from the documentary videos showing the development process over the last year.
Sounds interesting, but I hope they have invested in some servers in other cities as well. If all their servers are concentrated in one location then it won't matter how many they have when everyone on the planet with an Xbox is getting bottlenecked as they try to access them at the same time...
Honestly, if they were going to do single player then I would rather see it developed separately than tacked on as an afterthought.
I guess I'll just have to keep hoping that one day somebody will make that Shogo: Mobile Armor Division sequel that I've been waiting to play for the last...
No - it the game was exclusive to Xbox live and windows 8 but is now available on Steam though it's not fully released until July -> http://store.steampowered.com/app/228960/
pre-purchasing gets you access to the beta.
I think it's already been said that they are not doing the origin stories that we had for Dragon Age: Origins - but I hope that doesn't mean that we will have no choice at all for character creation. I really don't want the 'choice' of being human, human, or human again dammit.
I like this move - this was a major complaint with DA II - that it bore little resemblance to the first game and should have been marketed as a seperate action game set in the same world rather than a sequel.
What is happening at EA at the moment? With the abandonment of online passes and...
All we need is for a Valve spokesman to do a speech at the same conference on customer relations, customer service, how to listen, respond and interact with your potential customers online in ways that create a positive atmosphere and outcome.
Go on Valve - you know you want to... For...
If you have never played it, you should check out Shogo:Mobile Armor Division - it's a very old PC game but one that I still love. I wish that somebody would make a sequel to it.

I disagree. If you are going to add the use of expensive peripherals then it needs to be done in a way that enhances the game and not in a way that is seen as removing content so that the gamer can't access a part of the game that they have paid for on the central device.
Ten years ago it...
You really don't see a problem with exclusive content that people who have paid full price for the game and paid for a console which is $100 more expensive than it's competitor can't access unless they pay more for yet another device?
Don't get me wrong, I really love the look of this game, but am I the only one who felt like there was a marketing executive behind the camera there saying 'FUN, TELL THEM IT'S GOING TO BE FUN - EMPHASISE FUN DAMMIT'
Lol :-)
No - Sony specifically said that an online pass was something they would not allow even from third party publishers because users are already paying for PS+

and who wants to bet that the console version will be pirated days before it's release just like the last one...

Atari also filed for bankruptcy protection a few months back so that might have contributed to putting a spanner in the works. They are due to have a bankrupcy auction of their assets next month - http://www.polygon.com/2013/5/23/4358348/atari-seeking-2-2-million-in-bankruptcy-auction
Personally I wasn't all that impressed by the Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition with it's awful replacement movie and new portraits that to me, clashed with the original style of the game, so I wouldn't have been wasting my money on their version of Baldurs Gate 2. On PC at least I would much...
