Well it wouldn't be the first time Blizzard paid in-game tribute to a fallen WoW comrade. People can cry about insensitivity, marketing the dead, and whatever else but in reality it's just like any other tribute to the dead. Blizzard doesn't profit from this whatsoever.

Honestly...good! The extended universe was really nothing more than glorified fan fiction and wasn't really all that great anyway.
