    Critical Mix: 007

*Gasp*, Gunny lives!! :D The last thing to happen in EDA was Not-Fluttershy going psycho and summoning fire angels or something, right? Until shown otherwise, I choose to think she burned everyone else to a crisp, melted the evil soda factory, and Rad and Gunny were the only ones to escape...

    The Big Picture: Plothole Surfers

While I think things should generally make sense, a story about sapient lifeforms that never make any mistakes or miscalculations while being allegedly human kind of sounds like it wouldn't make sense by itself. Unless this was some hypothetical future where human thought is governed entirely by...

    Zero Punctuation: Hitman

The permanent scowly-face is funny to the point that it distracted me from what he was actually saying a few times.

Shamus Plays WoW #13: Crime and Punishment

"Imagine how stale the CSI joke will be six years from now." Reading this about six years later (I still enjoy re-reading this little adventure every couple of years), I can say that the CSI thing wasn't funny the first time and time has not sweetened it.

    #135: Crisis Core

Is this the part where we learn she didn't actually like her fellow resistance members that much? Or, just not that guy?

Aspect of stealth games you love

I kind of like feeling like a monster, creeping around and picking people off one by one. The Arkham games are the only ones I can think of in which the targets respond as though being stalked by an unseen horror, but I can usually fill in the blanks with imagination anyway.

Dead Rising 4 Only a Timed Exclusive For Xbox

"Timed exclusive"? That's what they're calling it now? I thought pretty much every Capcom game did this, but I don't remember fancy monikers slapped on them for it.

Dead Rising 4 Revealed, Frank West Returns

Weren't those guys just Will have to wait and see, but if we're going with the usual 'zombie virus' shtick, I probably should have taken it as red that absolutely anything was on the table.

Dead Rising 4 Revealed, Frank West Returns

The aesthetic of the thing has a bit of that dark and 'realistic' look to it, but tone feels nicely ridiculous. Curious about the 'evo' zombies, though, because that seems like a very odd thing for genetically altered wasps to do. I didn't play DR 3, so maybe I just missed some utterly...

New God of War Starring Aged Kratos Shown Off at Sony's E3 Presser

Really wish they'd done more with the title than that. A simple '4' may not be glamorous, but it's much less confusing.

    New Trailer For Disney's Moana

A big, shirtless, tattooed dude with a hook on a chain... Are we about to see Disney's answer to Kratos? Slim chance, but by the time the dramatic climax rolls around, maybe he'll at least pull a massive sea monster's head off.

#118: How to Motivate Your Heroes

"No! Bad Generic JRPG Protagonist! We only angst in the box, and during sufficiently tragic cutscenes!"

First Trailer Released for Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location

True, they might have been doing that stage pose thing just out of habit, so we might actually get that free-roaming thing this time. It'd certainly be a little fresher (for FNAF, anyway, because it might be functionally identical to Amnesia: The Dark Descent +jumpscares), though I understand...

First Trailer Released for Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location

The name of the game is Sister Location, unless they mean "There was never just one... storage facility." One imagines that that means they do the same thing as the first one, and it looks like they even have the stage for Chuck-E-Cheess's-style music. I'm drawing a blank for what else the...

First Trailer Released for Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location

VERY stupid. Same as building a pizzeria deep underground, it's something no one in their right mind would sink the time and money into making, but it sounds spooky, so in it goes. I guess fold-open faces are a compromise between fully-constructed anamatronics and the partly damaged ones to keep...
