The red pill movie. A 0?!

referenced post in quote I just read your reply to one of my earlier posts and I wanted to address some things there. I very well may be repeating something somebody else already said but still. I agree that workplace disparity in prevalent in many more dangerous jobs and I indeed think...

The red pill movie. A 0?!

Ok I'm pretty sure I have read every post in this thread and as far as i know nobody mentioned any one specific feminist by name, When toxic feminists where mentioned it was by me, I was making a point that although each movement has toxic elements (some more than other but all have them) it it...

thanks for your review, I actually agree with everything you said about the movie and I'm happy I was not insane when I saw the zero score and was like this:

First off thanks for weighing in and explaining your point of view, now that you've explained your stance please disregard my previous (passive aggressive) post. I understand where you're coming from because I also see the woman hating going on in some very loud parts of the men's rights...

I believe the difference is largely based on semantics. Feminist ideology certainly has a lot of organizing going on behind it. MRM clearly has an ideology. It seems to me people have their own preferences when describing themselves and the groups they are a part of.

I believe the word you where looking for was Egalitarianism. Feminism is equal rights for woman, says so in the name. A feminist can of course be egalitarian but it isn't inherent in the term feminism. Egalitarianism is the best option imho problem is in implementation...

OK, Just compressed the quote under the spoiler tag so the page doesn't get packed. Your first point, the funding. "Director Cassie Jaye initially struggled to find financiers who did not have "an agenda."[5] She mostly encountered people who believed the men's rights movement was a...

I am not carrying water for anyone, it just struck me that every quote about him was an extreme anti woman quote without any context and I showed that that can be done to almost anyone. Like I said I don't know the context of those quotes, all I know is that the context is missing. I always get...

I don't know what this Elam guy has done in the past apart from what is shown in the Doc. I do know that his use of language is easily quotable out of context to perhaps portray him as more of an extremist than he is. That he has strong views against feminism doesn't surprise me but the quotes...

I would recommend you watch the Doc, I agree with you that extremist within a movement polarize a debate until it becomes unmanageable and unproductive. I think that what gives this doc substance is that most people involved don't degrade to pointing finger machines. A 0 is for me (having seen...

"The Red Pill chronicles Jaye?s journey beginning as a skeptical feminist investigating what she believes to be a hate movement. She goes on to discover that the movement is different from what she expected and begins to question her own views on gender, power, and privilege. The film discusses...

Well. in her own words she isn't an MRA but she no longer calls herself a feminist either. Also take into account that maybe her believes are stronger than might seem, considering she has done a movie about gay issues (The Right to Love: An American Family) and one about woman's issues in the...

It depends if you want to see a documentary which is surrounded by controversy made by a feminist about the men's rights movements. Although I doubt that many people would accept that she ever was a feminist. Like a lot of Jews would rather not admit Norman Finkelstein is a Jew.
