OK so fear? Fine. Anger? Wonderful. Love? OK. But WILL-POWER? Will-power is an emotion? And on the 'emotional spectum' It comes right between hope and fear? Where is my red pen of doom?
It is clever how all the characters are looking the other way (or unconcious) when there is a battle. War, like sport, is much more exciting when you only follow the scores after the fact.
To be fair, I only watched the first episode but something about his voice made me want to hit things.
Thats not his fault of course. Can't even remember what he was blathering on about now.
Does Myst count as Foozle-less? While there are bad guys they aren't actively trying to destroy the world. In fact you could say they they are already 'defeated' when you turned up, its a game set AFTER the big boss battle.
If you choose to do nothing in Myst, nothing happens, the game...
'Myst' et al. Although if we're purely going for the art factor I'd have to recommend 'realMyst'.
The whole game is exploration and what is not arty all that beautiful scenery? Plus there is a great plot which may or may not be relevent in this context. Uncertainty is also arty.
Myst 5 End of Ages. They ditched real actors for poorly CG-ed ones and the game kept hijacking the camera to make me watch cutscenes for no very good reason.
Myst 1-4 were all about first person alone-in-a-strange-place type puzzle solving and (i hate to use the word) immersion! Playing Myst...
If there is too much time between boss fights/story digests then I'm likely to be distracted by something more immediately interesting and then forget what I'm meant to be doing. Either that or the sun comes out!
