Ubisoft Kills Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on PC

Not a single fuck was given. I haven't so much as looked at a Ubisoft game since the inception of their always on DRM and I wasn't a PC gamer until this year. If they feel so strongly about this whole thing without any proof whatsoever, then fuck them. They aren't worthy of my money, nor are...

    G4tv, wtf?

I haven't watched G4 in years. Not since their line up pretty much only consisted of Ninja Warrior, Cops, and Cheaters. AoTS is sometimes funny, but that's mostly thanks Kevin's improv skills, and aside from that it's kind of dumb.

Is anyone else having Google Earth mysteriously appear on their machine since Friday 11/18?

The only things I use Google for is their search function and occasionally their DNS service when my ISP goes down. I try not to install anything with Google's name on it, and it appears I have good reason for that.

EU Digital Commissioner Says Copyright Laws Encourage Piracy

So you're of the mindset that everyone is a pirate if given the opportunity? Cmon now. That's rather naive. Those who drink wine with a meal aren't future alcoholics, all gun owners aren't future murderers, everyone who enjoys sex aren't future rapists, etc.

Angry PS3 Gamers Sue EA Over Broken Battlefield Promise

I usually have a problem with class action lawsuits since too many of them are over asinine pretenses with an intent to get free money, but this appears to be 100% justified.

Introversion Comes to the Humble Bundle

Days need to be longer than 24 hours with all of these new AAA game releases and Humble Bundles.

Questions Still Swirl Around EA's Origin Bans

Golly EA, I hope you're prepared for a class action lawsuit if you don't get this bullshit ironed out. There may be a clause in your TOS you think "magically" absolves you of class action lawsuits, but assure you the American justice system will have a slightly different take on the matter. Your...

    Server Screw Up Kills MMO

It all depends on where the servers are located. In America, there are data back up laws that would have prevented this mishap. The companies also wouldn't be able to only offer "conditional" refunds. I guess Japan doesn't have those same laws. Live and learn.

Gabe Newell Says Steam Hack Is Worse Than Expected

It's ironically hilarious that I just signed up for Steam not but two weeks ago and this shit happens. I had already canceled my card because Microsoft didn't want to let it go and I was worried XBL was going to get hacked.

Archives of the World's Oldest Science Journal Now Available For Free

Awesome I've been on an electrical engineer kick as of late. I don't know why. Hopefully I can find some info in the archives about it.

Canadian Politician Okays Copyright Violation Because Nobody Cares Anyway

In a way, he's right. If I chose to circumvent DRM on my own time at my own house, who would even know? It's kind of stupid that he's still pushing for a law saying otherwise though. I know Canada wants to be all buddy-buddy with America and all, but as a very red blooded American myself, nobody...

Trade In Battlefield 3 And Get Modern Warfare 3 For 99p

Running this kind of campaign seems weird until you figure how many used BF3s will be on the market after. Will that be using Online Pass at all?

New Drugs May Extend Our Lifespan to 150 Years

Oh god! Driving is going to be a nightmare! 150 years seems like to old for a person to be living. Humans breed like crazy anyways. What are these really old people supposed to do for work? Then again, most of us will be long gone before the effects of any miracle pill are seen, so whatever.

Force A Teen Girl To Swordfight, Go To Jail

This is probably one of the most bizarre articles I've read in a while. Dragged out of a party to get beaten with a tree branch which is supposed to be a sword, then made to watch a televised sermon in her underwear. But then I see that it's in the Pacific Northwest and it all kind of falls into...
