    Poll: A question for Un-Americans.

Since I just came back from a trip to the Northeast and since I would never in my right mind consider paying to go to Florida, I'd have to say San Francisco or Hawaii. A lot of the people I met on the east coast told me I would enjoy northern California and it seems like an interesting area to...

What games are you looking forward to? :3

Though there are some great big titles lined up this year like ME3 and Bioshock Infinite, deep down my top spot goes to SSX. SSX 3 is one of my all time favorites and a game I dust off and play every once in a while to this day. The reboot actually looks really fun and faithful to the series...

    Where should I go?

Good morning/ afternoon/ evening/ what the hell are you still doing awake?!, fellow escapists. My name is Noa, i'm 18 years old and could really use some advice about what to do next with my life. I won't bore you with the excruciatingly long details, so i'll try to sum up my situation in a few...

Games are Banned. You may keep one...

Heroes of Might and Magic 3. I've been playing it on and off since I was about eight, and I figure if it has kept me entertained this long i'll probably never grow sick of it.

What did you just finish doing?

I just got back from having a picnic with some friends near the beach. Pretty soon i'm going to collapse from running around all day.

What is your favorite iphone/casual game?

I absolutely love Plants vs Zombies, it's the only Popcap game that has ever managed to hold my intrest for more than a few minutes (...ok that and the horrifically addictive one with the fish).

Broken Sword is now Free on GOG.com

I can't say how the Directors Cut compares to the original Broken Sword as i've never played it, but I whole heartedly recommend to anyone who hasn't yet openined a gog account to register and snatch this awesome game while it's still free.

Poll: [Origin] How many of us have folded?

Haven't installed it and have no need to. I like the convenience of playing all of my games through Steam and GOG and for now it doesn't look like i'll be needing anything else. Even if EA does start witholding more games from Steam I can't really think of any EA games i'm interested in playing...

The Bastion: which ending did you pick? *SPOILERS*

I chose to save Zolf and fly away. I like the idea of progressing, setting off on a new adventure and leaving the past behind. Reversing time would have just lead to another calamity so it seemed pretty pointless. I did choose to set time back on my second playthrough but I didn't like it as...

What annoys you to no end?

Not many things manage to piss me off as much as people who constantly victimize themselves. I usually try to stay open minded and understanding when I talk to people, but I just lose all patience when people intentionally put themselves in situations where they are miserable for the sake of...

Bioware *clearly* hates women and wants them to suffer

This thread reminds me of trying to develop a romance as FemHawke. it went something like this: Hawke: Hello. Anders: Hello. Hawke: I've got your back! Anders: OMG I LOVE YOU FOREVER DON'T LEAVE ME. *reboots xbox* *goes to see what Isabella is up to*

What's your favorite scary game? OR What game makes you whimper in the corner?

That's a tough question. In terms of pure fun in a game that is technically a horror game i'll go with Resident Evil 4. In terms of actual scariness I'll say Amnesia hands down. Though it wasn't really fun for me in the traditional sense, Amnesia is definitely the most immersive game i've ever...

Poll: What percentage of your games run through Steam?

As far as PC games go I run the vast majority on steam. The few others are either old games that I bought years ago or games from GOG.

So who actually completed Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

I beat it but it took me a few months with all the long breaks I took for the sake of sleep (around 11 hours of total play time). Amazing game that's really worth pushing through.

    Games you actually found boring

Ah yes I get that a lot. I've always really wanted to get into Bethesda games since they always have an interesting premise, still no matter how many chances i've given Oblivion and Fallout 3 I always ended up getting really bored with them. it's obvious that Bethesda put a lot of effort into...
