    Books you regret reading

Old Soldiers by David Weber It/she/They open up a door by blasting it with some blasty cannon. She/They considers what It/her has done. It/Her calculates for .0012 seconds and Her/They/It is satisfied that the door is indeed blown apart. Her/It cries digital tears of...

    Films that you regret watching

Antfarm Dickhole http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2028457/ It was terrible. It is about a guy... With an antfarm... In his ureathra. Wow, pass the popcorn, Mom. But to say that I regretted it might be taking things a bit far. I am not that picky when it comes to movies.

    Left 4 Dead 2

Hey everyone, my friend is having some problems with his addons for L4D2. Here is what he is saying: Weapon mods work fine in single player but not in co-op campaign. Mods will work for occasionally for one game of co-op, than are broken. The files are in the correct folder and the game files...

Woah Woah Woah. Okay, let's talk about women for a second.

People judge people by appearance. This is true for every single person on this thread, myself included. I am a burn survivor and I STILL judge people by appearance. Every day that I go outside people stare at my disfigured body parts. And I stare right back at them thinking about who they...

Jimquisition: The Positive Side of Mass Effect 3's Ending Drama

Really petty but... I miss his old sunglasses. Not that I could ever have a problem with seeing more of his Godlike visage. Jim standing with supreme authority at His lectern with matching flag, suit, tie and glasses made my bowels quake in righteous fear. Forgive me Jim, for my ignorance of...

Is The Hunger Games so different from Battle Royale?

Unless, of course, you are/were like me and ignorant of it being a book previous to being a movie. In which case it is very plausible for the memories of a director to be an original inspiration for a story. Again, sorry for the mix-up, as I read that quote years ago when I first watched that movie.

What physical features/defects/scars/etc. do you think make you unique as a person?

Half of my body is covered in split-thickness skin grafts. But you would never know as long as I wore pants, long sleeve shirts, hats, and shoes. Does not really make me unique but whenever I wear shorts I get a lot of people checking my legs out. Which can be amusing... If they realize that...

Is The Hunger Games so different from Battle Royale?

Director Kinji Fukasaku has said that he based this movie on his experiences in World War II Japan, where he worked in a factory that was regularly bombed by Allied aircraft and many of his fellow workers were killed on their first or second day on the job and he never got to know any of them.- IMDB

    What's for dinner?

So I guess the difference between a chip and a French fry is that one is cooked in the United Kingdom and the other cooked in the United States... which come to think of it, might actually be why we named ours after France. P.S. That pic made me want some fried potato wedges.* *just...

    What's for dinner?

French fries need to be crispy. I hate limp wedges of potato that must be held horizontally in order to sag them into some catsup. It is the worst. I live in the spud state so most people cook them right, thankfully.

    What's for dinner?

Pork loin stuffed with apples, herbs, garlic, bread crumbs, toasted pine nuts and pepper and salt. Side of cream of asparagus soup and endive salad with candied walnuts and balsamic reduction. At least that what I am cooking for Mom and Nana. I am on a diet so I am having steamed greenbeans...
