Petition to Free Jailed League of Legends Player Reaches 100,000 Sigs

By what moronic standard does he need to be punished? Ever played an online game? The tone is much harder than sarcasm. People who think this statement was in any way inappropriate need to go to the asylum instead.

    Neverwinter Nevermore

That brought back memories. I spent a couple of years with NWN online and was fasinated by the depth of RPG on some servers, the worlds on others and the action packed dungeon crawling on servers. I tried WoW afterwards, but it never was the same to me. The RPG seemed pointless and the world...

    Germany Creates Herbicidal Death Ray

At least the company has some sense of humor. HAL and cyberdyne is not the words one usually wants connected to robotics.

Emo Haircuts Might Ruin Your Eyesight

Ignore the hate - it's the same for every generation. I grew up in the 90's and wore ridiculous baggy clothes. People hated a lot on that as well. If you're different the insecure will try to become in-group by sharing a dislike for you.

Do you think big games today will become the nostalgia of the future?

I don't see any reason why this generations of gamers wouldn't be nostalgic about the stuff they grew up with. The only reason you are nostalgic about stuff is because it reminds you of a good time in a less complicated time. I have fond memories of playing CS at all-nighters at the local cafe...

Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson.

Maybe ready the context before you comment. Guy I quoted claimed minors shouldn't have any right to privacy, which imo is completely looney.

Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson.

And some wonder why kids get messed up! Even a minor needs privacy. But I guess fascist parents are the new black.

Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson.

Do you know why public humiliation is forbidden in the declaration of human rights? because it's an inappropriate and ineffective way of punishing. The girl told her friends on face book. The dad was blocked but gained access somehow. He's the one doing something he shouldn't. Then he gets...

Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson.

I don't think I can argue this with you. The man is stumbling over words because of the adrenaline he got running from acting out his revenge on a daughter he feels slighted him in public. Then he goes theatrical (yay, more great parenting there) and destroys something. whether it would be don't...

Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson.

Did you miss the part where he has grounded her several times? Or where he's talking about her not having a laptop until college? He never hit her you say - looking at his anger I say it's matter of time. He's not setting firm boundaries. He's retaliating like a fool when his anger is worked...

Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson.

She's acting like a perfectly normal teenager. Old people have always blamed the troubles of the world on them. IF you think that anyone acting like her has anything to do with the riots in England, then you do not understand the first thing about how societies work. Harsh punishments handed...

Giving in to anger doesn't vent you it makes you more prone to anger. Learning to control your anger reduces anger. That guy is imo dangerous as a parent and I honestly fear his daughter is being abused. Excessive grounding is a sure sign of a control freak absent parenting skills.

    13,000 Play Half-Life 2 For Half-Life 3

Would've participated, but real life got in the way. I feel like I'm gonna stop being a gamer before this game will see another release. :(

Poll: How Happy Are You Being Single?

Why didn't you put content in the options then? If by single you mean forever alone, then no I wouldn't be happy with that. If by single you mean sleeping around and having casual relationships, then I'm perfectly happy with that. Steady relationships mean doing a lot of stuff you don't like...
