I've had the same idea before. The obvious answer is that the Marvel universe was not originally conceived as one massive entity. The comics tended to stick to themselves and only feature outside characters to sell more issues on cameo appeal rather than to forge a greater universe.
In the...
Personally I don't like Halo much, for me its an okay shooter but not something I go out of my way to play but really the reasons it is so popular are kinda obvious.
For many people it was the first shooter franchise they played. Consider the best console shooter before the Xbox/PS2...
A happy job. You can earn as much money as you like but if you hate the job and/or the people you work with it will grind on you. Don't forget a full time job takes up a lot of time in your life anyway so having lots of money won't really get you far save for your few weeks on holiday each year...
Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Just an amazing series, got mentioned in another thread and yeah it's just an insanely fun game. Tons of stuff to do, lots of variation, a nice level of challenge/
Pretty much just give us a HD remake of Future Perfect with PSN/Xbox Live support and I'm done.
The multiplayer in that game was so fun and so extensive, not in the cheap ass grindy "prestige mode" of CoD either just balls to the wall fun and challenges that were...challenging, sure anyone...
You don't like a popular game, it happens to all of us and really there's not much to debate in a thread about it, most of us learn the hard/long way though.
Dr Strange is the one I'd like to see in...I'm more than curious to see Liam Neeson play him as well, it's an obvious choice but I'd see it :)
I don't think Iron Man will actually be out. He's a huge part of the Avengers and RDJ is getting paid a hell of a lot of money for playing the...
Well it was a predictable move given the general direction of the gaming industry in this day and age and the pressure to make a safe game that will sell good enough to keep the dev in business.
It also has to be said that working for EA is like a Sword of Damocles. You may get a lot of...
The difference between Jim Sterling and Extra Credits is that Jim aims for entertainment value mainly and is very forceful in putting his point across.
Extra Credits is more about creating debate and trying to get people to think in a different way, both have their uses but personally I...
Any points COD4 was supposedly trying to make in regards to warfare are made redundant by the sequels which are far more gung ho.
I appreciated 2 things in COD4 1. The Nuke scene (it worked well the first time and all attempts to one up it in sequels feel like just that) and secondly the SAS...
It's a stupid move. Used games are what help the younger players afford games. Making them single use only is a huge commitment and people will feel less inclined to experiment with a game because they can't even trade it back in for some money off their next title.
Also we all know some...
I'm not finished with Bioware, I'm not finished with any games company. I'm just finished with bullshit and being treat like criminal and/or a dripping moneybag.
Okay so the whole purpose is to make money and sure, I'll cough up for a new WHOLE game just not one that demands I drip more on...
