Well, cue the angry masses...
I don't see this as a bad thing if they plan to keep on keepin-on, as it were. Minecraft probably won't change too much. At the very least, I'd expect new developments for other platforms like Windows Phone or Windows based tablets now that MS owns it.
So far, I'm loving the player's handbook and I'm looking forward to the monster manual and DMG. Having playtested the hell out of this edition, I'm glad to finally see it hit shelves and make waves. It's great fun.
Could I just ask... who the hell is asking for an Ant-Man movie? I see that being a big flop, because most movie-goers wouldn't even know what the hell Ant-Man even is, let alone why they should care.
I actually really like this one. Finally, it seems like they've given enough room to write down class and race features. That was always way too small historically, in my opinion. Also, I'm not bothered by the smaller inventory space. In my games, inventory doesn't drastically change or get...
I don't have any experience with the first edition or AD&D. I started with 3.5, then moved on to 4e, which I actually enjoyed a lot more. Most of my D&D experience is with 4e. I don't subscribe to the belief that the edition you start with is the edition you like most.
Lately, I've been...
Info has been scarce because of a non-disclosure agreement for those who have playtesting materials. Legally, we can't just give everything out.
I've played several sessions of Next, and am currently DMing a campaign that has players up to about level 8 so far and showing no signs of slowing...
You make a good point, but to my understanding, this is the first time they've had public playtesting to this magnitude and for this long before a release. And the playtest packets are just samples. Sure, we have no 100% solid proof that there won't be some flaws in wording, loopholes, etc...
Cool. I'm really looking forward to the official release. Been playing with the playtest packets for several months now, and so far, I'm really liking it.
For those saying that "Next will disappoint," I'm thinking they're just a little butthurt and pining over their old editions. If you don't...
I really like the app. It's been helpful when I've had guests over. It offers some good deals and is fairly straightforward to use. Only problem so far? You can only pay with cash.
They have a payment option button, but "Cash" is the only thing listed. Why can't you take more of my plastic money!?
Well... I'd love to try my hand at solving the puzzle, but I still haven't received the last few days of items in the mail yet. I know what the last two are, and I know I haven't gotten them.
I was assuming that there actually was no puzzle - that they're trolling people.
