Got to say this is exactly how I felt.

I'm going with Maya, as the skill set looks the most interesting. Also I played Lilith in the first game. I would pay very good money for a DLC that lets me play through with the characters from BL1 (although there could be oddities meeting 'yourself' as an NPC).

I'll definately be buying it. Steam tells me I sank 510 hours into Borderlands, the vast majority of it in co-op. The only pain was that, because co-op was really sensitive to where in the various quests each character was, and because I played in various 4 player teams permed from a group...

News to me. I have 250+ and it still works fine. I am lucky enough to have 2.5Mb broadband though (not steaming I know, but a lot better than many). One thing I would like is the ability to split Steam across multiple drives without RAID'ing them. But damn those sales.

Got to agree with this. I am strongly biased towards getting things through Steam; it makes it much easier to manage games and update them.

I've always thought there was something deeply ironic about a series of films about people not dying when they should have not dying when it should have.

As a Brit maybe 5 or 6 of those (if that) 'Americanisms' actually bother me. In several cases I actively deplore the 'Britsh' view expressed.
