Squirming larval insects or worms give me jeevies. Especially queen termites! I picture a bloated slime coated queen termite whenever somebody mentions they have a termite problem in their home.

I had trouble understanding why the shop class in middle school would trust kids with electric saws, drill presses, and other finger-chopping equipment. Then I took the class and found it was pretty cool.
