    LoadingReadyRun: Punchr

If this could be made so that you could tag bad driving it would be huge. I'm thinking a google glass app where you look at the back of the car and it focuses on the license plate. You should be able to modify the verbal command but mine would be "Asshat" or some such. Enough downvotes, and you...

The Big Picture: Leave Michael Bay Alone

I feel like I should be offended but I can't bring myself to it. While I'll never pay to see a Bay movie, I must admit that I tend to stop on them when they are on cable. I blame the explosions.

Escapist News Now: Titanfall New Gameplay & Beta Preview

My first thought as well. So, you can play the game but game-breaking cards are available for purchase? I hope that's not the case.

    Movie Defense Force: Demon Knight

I'm with the rest of you. Demon Knight is one of my all time favorite movies. I must have seen it twenty times on VHS. That Filter song? Come on! Tell me you don't want that playing every time you walk into a room!

    Movie Defense Force: Silent Hill

I've never played the games but I know the basic premise. With that knowledge, I was able to follow the movie pretty well on the first viewing and I liked it. The second? Not so much.

    Excessively Excessive

This push to excess is, I believe, driven almost solely by the lack of game designer's ability to tell a decent story. What is more compelling to the player - blowing up a city they've heard of or watching a character that they've connected with emotionally be murdered? Look at the beginning of...

    Poll: Magic: The Gathering

I used to play it back when I was in college but keeping up with all the expansion packs gave way to paying rent. I dusted off the cards a few years ago and taught my wife to play. It was fun for a while. I do like the game. As an aside, I knew a guy that had a job writing manuals/expansion...

    Your current book...

The only thing I've ever seen of The Dresden Files was the dreadful Sci-Fi show. That poster makes me want to check it out now. That's pretty epic.

    Your current book...

I read that a long while ago but I can't remember liking it that much. I might have to give it a second chance.

    Your current book...

It depends on which room I'm in. In one bathroom I'm just about done with Mogworld (will probably finish today or tomorrow). In the other I'm about a quarter of the way through a second reading of Crown of Shadows by CS Freedman. If I'm in any other room of the house I'm usually reading an eBook...

    On Multiplayer

I have to agree. Maybe it's my age (nearly 40) but when I first got an XBox 360 (my first gaming console since the PlayStation 1), I picked up Halo 2 and had a blast with my friends - for about 2 weeks. Then it was just boring. I discovered co-op games and never went back. I thought that horde...

Games you can't remember, but still miss - describe them.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. That's be bugging me for years!

Games you can't remember, but still miss - describe them.

It was on the 3DO. Top down (mostly) shooter where you could control a helicopter, tank, or maybe some sort of rocket launching vehicle. There was a classical music score in the background that would crescendo as you blew shit up. The more you destroyed, the louder the music. I loved that game.
