Iirc, Mind Blades dealt more damage and bounced better than the bouncing magic missiles spell that Wizards get, not to mention can be repeatedly casted thanks to focus (Blunderbuss 6 hits...)
A competent tank and 5 characters with firearms make the game a bit of a joke as firearms deal too much...
As far as balance goes, it's mostly nerfs on some of the overpowered stuff and some improved ranges on Wizard spells.
Sure-Handed Ila chant now gives 1.2x reload speed instead of 2x
Slicken wizard spell only afflicts prone status once instead of over and over
Chill Fog wizard spell doesn't...
Well then that post is quite off-topic then, isn't it?
Unfortunately the cost relating to resting isn't all that significant after first few hours, especially since sleeping in the Common Room of an inn is free. I'd like it more if sleeping in common room gave you the Minor Fatigue penalty at...
I always love a good mechanics rant, buuuuut...
What was your point, at least relating to PoE? That "Per rest" restrictions are sucky at balancing and will always suck?
I really like it so far. Having played Baldur's Gate 1 vanilla slowly over the past 2 and a half months, the improvements on the IE formula in terms of both content pacing and gameplay are immediately apparent. This is probably the smoothest RTwP gameplay experience I've had, with Aarklash...

A lot of you probably saw the debut trailer of Bloodborne shown on Sony press conference, but the information has not stopped there.
The Playstation blog has been updated with more basic information and a couple of screenies...
This is potentially worse than Watch_Dogs. The preview copies that were sent to reviewers this February on PS3 looked pretty much EXACTLY like the promotional material. There was no reason NOT to expect the final retail versions to look as good.
At least Ubisoft showed what the game really...
Picked up Anachronox and Miasmata for 4? total. Love dem dollar prices.
Btw, they changed things a bit yesterday and are still selling all previous bundles/packs/package deals at the same time now for another 87 minutes. What happens next though?
You took Jim's words completely the wrong way. He did call Durante stuff like "layman" and "average joe" because by strict professional standards that's what he is. Doesn't matter how good he is, compared to the people making and porting these games, Peter "Durante" Thomann is a but a dedicated...
Vanquish - rebalance the game so that all cover-based mechanics can be taken out.
The game wasn't bad, it's just that cover-based gameplay hurt it more than helped.
Overall, Call of Pripyat is mechanically the best of the 3, but it does seem like it was made for Stalker game vets because there's practically zero tutorial compared to the other 2 games.
