    Unskippable: Alice: Madness Returns

This is the first Unskippable I've seen that made me resolve to buy the game. Alice is pretty and the gameplay videos are really pretty.

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 26: House of the Medusa

I was happy to see dungeon crawls and halls again. When they were walking down that first corridor the music was just so cool and I was like "aw yeah, what I like about this show is back." Satine went with "My character doesn't know what to do when these people I met start attacking each...

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 25: What's THIS do...?

Dunno why but I've had a hard time getting around to these last two episodes, and I keep tabbing away from them... I like the cliffhanger this one ends with, though.

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 22: What's a Wyvern?

Regular D&D is boring to watch or listen to -- or at least, I can't ever get through the WotC or Penny Arcade or Spoony videos. But this is edited, and that makes a ton of difference.

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 22: What's a Wyvern?

I could see the lack of music as being a stylistic choice. This is a downbeat, town episode and the music would be almost too badass to match it. I noticed that the top bar of the widescreen is gray instead of black -- weird. My crush needle is swinging toward Connie the last couple...

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 21: Where Were You Last Night?

I think the homunculus is not in the pay of the medusa, but is crawling up on her lap to take over her body. That was a really cute moment when Frankie and Connie chimed out what they rolled: "Twos!"

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 20: Friday Night in Vornheim

The preview frame further proves you're great at foreshadowing. It's so good to your audience not to suddenly surprise them by saying Justine's leaving with no warning. She went out strong -- that was a really cool image with the tower and the roof escape. My favorite part of this episode...

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 19: Silly.

Connie's earring got a lot cooler to me when the camera got close enough to show it spiraling through her ear instead of hanging. I missed the part where they got back to town -- must have happened just before they decided to start streaking. From the audience perspective, we could have used...

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 18: 200 lbs. Of Meat And A New Fur Coat

Sadly, this episode contains some of my least favorite things about D&D. How unforgiving first level characters are to newbies (you try out your suboptimal but cool spider sword one time and you go down?), people not playing as a group and letting each other die, and the medusa princess never...

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 17: A Dire Situation

Gosh, I watched all the episodes last month and I... don't remember the flaming ooze? Those death rules are quite scary... using very rough statistical math, the odds you'll roll over your constitution are around 1/3 (with 13 Con) and the average hit point loss is 3.5 on a 1d6, so you're...

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 16: "Now & Then A Player Will Die"

Hm, "Kicked in the Dicebags" does not seem to be for me based on episode 63. I enjoyed the very beginning up till about 1:15, though. Then I realized I only listen to podcasts when I'm in the car. Thanks for the mention though.

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 16: "Now & Then A Player Will Die"

Oh, man, I'd love to compare dice collections with you. My cell phone background is a sparkly dice I backlit with my bike headlight. I love the swirls, the sparkles, and no two dice the same kind.

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 16: "Now & Then A Player Will Die"

Wow, even after having seen the trailer last episode the actual episode wasn't spoiled -- learning that the death scene we heard was actually described in a dream so that the character was aware of her own death made it very tragic (music helped a lot of course). The dreams rocked.

I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 15: Ambush at the River of Despair

Based on her D&D start date of 2008 I'd have to guess she's referring to movie and videogame zombies. Has anyone here played a first-level adventure that had a ton of zombies? D&D zombies are boring to fight against -- no tactics, no speed, no speech, and damage reduction that makes them...
