Neverwinter Nights 2 is pretty good with Mask of the Betrayer... I remember something about WotC having really restrictive contracts regarding the continuity of their universes and something about "earlier editions are off limits for new games".

And here is where this idea falls flat allready. How long did we have this "misogyny in gaming" told to us, over and over again? Wouldn't all these "upstart female coders" smell the fame and support by announcing a cooperative effort in order to make a game only by women?

I stopped trusting "professional" reviewers but not because I think they are bribed by the publishers/devs. (the german "pros" are still pretty allright, imho) I still think pubs/devs use shady tactics to tip a reviewer into their favor but that's not the reason I distrust the "pros" anymore. I...

Yeah, thats very "gamey". I looked past it but it did feel very weird at times, especially when you can see some enemies and they could see you too or should be able to notice you but they just stand there and you realize, you can take a break without hitting pause.
